Before you book.

QuickBooks Online or Xero: which should I pick?
Both work well for small businesses and real estate investors. If your CPA already uses one, that is usually the easiest choice. Not sure? We talk it through on the kickoff call before anything is set up.
Do you need my passwords?
No. You send a secure accountant (advisor) invite from inside QuickBooks or Xero, and we show you how. Please never email passwords.
How long does setup take?
About 7 to 10 business days after we have access. Then we finish with a 60-minute handoff and training call, recorded so you can watch it again.
My books already have past transactions. Is that included?
Setup covers building your file and checking your opening setup. If past months need catching up or cleaning up, that is a separate cleanup, and we quote it before any work starts.
I bought a Starter Kit. Does it count?
Yes. Use the code from your kit email for $97 off within 90 days of your kit purchase.
Who pays for QuickBooks or Xero?
You do, directly. The software subscription is in your name, so the file and the data are always yours.
Do you prepare taxes?
No. Kellcat does not prepare taxes or give tax advice. We set up your books so your CPA gets clean, organized numbers.
What happens after setup?
You keep the books yourself with the training you got, or hand them to Kellcat with monthly bookkeeping. Either way, you start from a clean, well-built file.
